1866 Manila envelope sent by REGISTERED PARCEL POST (contained a packet of heavy legal papers) from St. Joseph 22 NO to Francois-Beauce, with very fine strike of boxed REGISTERED and straight line PAID handstamps, manuscript senders instructions 'Par Poste a paquet' rated manuscript '1/3' - the decimal equivalent was 25¢ postage (for up to one pound) plus 5¢ registration (all fees paid in cash), filing folds and slight reduction at both ends, still an attractive and presentable example of this scarce rate, ex Harrison.
