Mint and Used Collection, all neatly mounted on quadrille pages in an album. Fairly comprehensive from #24 and on, with many complete sets (missing a few stamps here and there), some have both a mint and a used copy and we note at least two mint sets that are duplicated. We note some shade studies as well as a few better postmarks. A nice, clean collection, with only one stamp we have noted to have a fault, rest are fine to very fine and often with bright colour. We also note a #86 on cover, a few Royal Visit covers, a cheque with three 1c Codfish, and two FDC. The main collection as described here was catalogued using Scott, and the mint was counted as all hinged, even though a spot check revealed a few never hinged issues . Next we note a collection of stationery post cards, with 27 various cards, a few unused but mostly used (these catalogued using Unitrade and included in total). What was not catalogued but is included is a group of 17 covers from the 1940s, a very nice collection of "Newfoundland and Labrador Town Cancels" on 12 pages, with stamps and pieces, all neatly sorted by town name. Lastly, we include a box containing glassines full of used stock, from #82 to 269, each glassine containing 50 or 100 stamps and we note some town cancels, as well a over 40 bundles of 100 copies of mostly #269. A lovely collection. (Image)

Collection of Mint Issues, 1870 to 1947, all displayed on black stock sheets, with a mix of lightly hinged and never hinged (with a preponderance of NH, especially the complete sets), with some early items counted as hinged because of very light gum disturbances. An overall fresh collection, with all different stamps (including shades and printings), many with bright colours and varying centering, ranging from fine to extremely fine.
