Stamp is cancelled and tied to cover with a #9 numeral cancel, which is not reported in Unitrade's rarity factor chart. Cover has a small tear at bottom and some creasing. 6d yellow green Heraldic Imperforate Horizontal Pair on 1859 Cover mailed St Stephen (OCT.24.1859 dispatch on back) to St George NB, franked with a very fine pair of 6d imperforates (cancelled by fine strikes of the St Stephen NB numeral 30 in grid) paying the 12 pence registered rate within New Brunswick. Two creases do not affect stamps, and slightly reduced at top, else very fine. Ex. John Seybold (with his handstamps on back), Dale Liechtenstein, Koh and mentioned in Argenti on page 46. A world rarity with only three recorded, and accompanied by a 1974 BPA certificate. (Image)
