More Than 750 First Day Covers, 1932 to 2010s, including some earlier and later, with about 300 on black Vario pages, about 300 loose, and the balance in unopened Canada Post FDC Quarterly Packs. Most are Canada Post official FDCs, but we also saw some private cachet makers including C.R.C, C. George and the Regina Exhibition "A" type on a 1933 World Grain Exhibition FDC. A selection of the better covers is pictured online and includes a pair of the 1c and another pair of the 2c from the 1927 Confederation issue, a 13c Ram Tank from the War issue, and a 50c Lumbering from 1947. We also noted quite a few higher-denomination stamps on FDCs ($1, $2, $5, $8 Grizzly Bear and $10 Blue Whale) and a set of Wilding definitive covers with the Winnipeg tagging, commemorating the start of the SEFACAN optical sorting / facing / canceling machinery. The unopened quarterly packs run from 2007 to 2011 with some duplication of packs. Advance viewing of this lot is recommended to better appreciate the breadth of the material included. (Image)

Group of Over 500 First Day Covers, 1950s to 2013, with about half being Canada Post official FDCs and half from various private cachet makers. We noted single stamps, se-tenant pairs, blocks and strips, along with some larger-format covers with souvenir sheets and some higher-denominations in the group. The private cachets include 15 from Kolor Kover, a few Schering items, a 1973 Rose Craft cover with a pair of the 15c Commonwealth Heads of Government issue with very faint tagging, a 1983 plate block of the $2 Commonwealth Day issue, a "keyhole" version of the 150th anniversary of the 2001 Canadian Postal Service issue and a player-signed 2013 Montréal Canadiens issue. Also includes a few 1938 Mufti 3c FDCs, several special event covers, about 20 CAPEX 1996 Canadian Bank Note show cards and one philatelic numismatic cover for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II (Unitrade #PNC5, c.v. $55). There is duplication of up to 5 of some covers in this fine or better group. Also included is a real photo postcard apparently depicting the 1908/1909 Shamrocks hockey team. This split-back postcard was never sent, and has rips and one corner has been torn off; still very interesting and worth additional research. Our photos provide only a glimpse of the contents, best viewed to appreciate its breadth. (Image)

Extensive Collection of Over 2,200 First Day Covers, 1951-2022, left intact by us, housed on Vario pages in 18 Canada Parliament Stamp Album binders. Early material is lightly duplicated, though usually with different cachets and/or cachet makers (note Rose Craft, N.R., H&E, Kingswood and Jackson). Modern material includes covers with singles, se-tenant pairs, blocks, plate blocks, souvenir sheets and booklet panes. We note better such as 38c Regiment UR plate block, Hoodoos error souvenir sheet, Canadian Landscape Painters Kiosk stamps (x2), a Rush cover signed by Geddy Lee, NHL covers signed by Bobby Hull, Serge Savard, Ted Lindsay, Johnny Bower, Duck stamp covers, philatelic numismatic covers, Millennium souvenir sheets and all the desirable modern high value issues. Collection appears to be fairly complete, with lots of extra goodies and a little duplication through the latter material. Well worth looking at this one in person, despite our numerous photos online. (Image)
