1911 Stationery Envelope Mailed to Oran Algeria, mailed from Heatherdown, Alberta on JUN.4.1911 (an RF "E" postmark, and possibly the earliest known), addressed to Oran Algeria, then re-directed to Tunisia and assessed postage due "T" 30 Centimes. It was mailed at the 2c printed matter rate, as the backflap is still unsealed and there is a notation on back "post card" which was its content. Four different backstamps including Alger, Oran, Tunis and "Ksar Medjez El Bab Regence De Tunis". Overall light toning, still a rare rate and destination. (Image)
