Lovely Collection of 35 Lower Canada Stampless Letters, mostly from the 1840s and 1850s, we counted 11 inter-provincial, 4 cross-border and 20 trans-Atlantic (to or from) items. Noting postmark interest, towns include many Montréal but also other smaller towns, and a great variety of rate markings and handstamps (too many to list, see online scans). The quality of this lot is better than usual, with virtually all very fine items, all covers scanned online. (Image)

Collection of 39 Pre-Confederation, Mostly Stampless Covers from Nova Scotia, includes domestic, inter-provincial and trans-Atlantic covers and folded letters, with good postmark interest including a very fine strike of "On Post Office Business / FREE" in 1854, early Halifax "Fleuron datestamps", but most of the collection is written-up on pages describing the different routes, rates and rate markings. All covers scanned online, ask to see backs of these covers, as they often also have good postmark interest. Overall fine to very fine. (Image)

Group of Over 50 Stampless Covers and Letters, from Ontario, Québec, NB and NS, noted a great number of broken circles, double broken circles, RPO cancels, rate markings, Morgan items, mourning, and more. A majority of the items were mailed, a few were not mailed or are letters only. Many of the items are in sleeves, often with prices and descriptions and some of the covers have letters inside. Condition varies greatly, still a good lot for postmark interest (noted some ERD and LRD) or other. Photos show only a few of the better items. (Image)
