1902 Illustrated Advertising Drop Letter Cover, mailed at Toronto and postmarked with a lovely strike of the rare Toronto experimental (called "Freak" by some) 2-ring datestamp dated OCT.6.1902 (this datestamp was previously a duplex, later modified). The illustrated corner card is from the "The Veterans Locating & Colonization Association" and depicts two lovely illustrations of soldiers on the left and covered wagon colonists on the right. Small tear at right and backflap faults do not detract from this gorgeous cover. Ideal for the Toronto postmark specialist, illustrated cover collector, Numeral collector or (Boer?) war / veterans collector. (Image)
