1858 3d Beaver Pair on Cover to USA, mailed from the "Russell's Hotel" in Québec city on JUL.10.1858 (double broken circle tying stamps) and franked with a horizontal pair of imperforate 3d Beavers (faults) and addressed to Cincinnati, Ohio, with clear Montreal JUL.10 transit on back. Small edge faults caused by oversize contents, still attractive and fine. (Image)

1874 and 1892 Small Queen Covers, first was mailed at Latona C.W (FEB.17.1874 in red, with both year and day slugs reversed) and franked with a 3c vermilion Small Queen to Toronto (Durham and Toronto backstamps). Small tear and light crease, else very fine. Also a cover mailed at Simcoe (APR.5.1892) and franked with a strip of 3 of the 1c Small Queen, tied by two strikes of a fancy "8" in grid cork cancel, to Dundas (Hamilton and Dundas backstamps). Tears and stains at top, else very fine. (Image)

1876 5c Registered Domestic Cover, mailed at Toronto (AUG.1.1876) and franked with a single 5c slate green (perforated 11½ x 12 and tied by fancy segmented cork) paying for the domestic registration rate to Stratford (next day receiver on back), contrary to regulations as the RLS stamp were to be used . A scarce usage of this stamp in its first year of issue, to pay for this rate. Tear on backflap, still very fine. (Image)
