1906 CANADA OFFICIALLY SEALED REGISTERED to ENGLAND, #90(×3),93 pays the UPU 2½-ounce letter rate (5 × 2¢ per ½-ounce overpaid by 1¢) + 5¢ registration fee, on cover from VANCOUVER on NOV20'1906 and addressed to MITCHAM-ENGLAND, routing via MONTREAL on NOV 26th where it was docketted to contain coins and sent to the Montreal Dead Letter Office for customs inspection, three rare #OX2 Official Seals were used to reseal the envelope noting all are tied by MONTREAL-BRANCH-DEAD-LETTER-OFFICE double oval handstamps dated NOV 27th plus a DLO wax seal applied on back, forwarded by closed bag via NEW-YORK + LIVERPOOL + LONDON with arrival on DEC 7th + overland to MITCHAM on DEC 8th, the only recorded cover with three #OX2 Official Seals, some travel wear from the heavy contents and rough opening tear on back, the right seal stamp had a portion torn off in transit to check the underlying stamps and this has been neatly restored, a world class rarity and F-VF ($5000 US) (Image)
