1872 SENATOR ROBERT WILLIAM WEIR CARRALL (from British Columbia), written and signed biography on a Henry Morgan form sent to all elected Parliament members requesting information on their education, family history, birth location and date, positions held, and significant achievements, the information was to be published in the 7th edition of “Canadian Parliamentary Companion”, the cover page is also signed by Henry Morgan, among Senator Carrall's achievements was the work in negotiating the BC terms of Confederation with Canada and he also created the “Dominion Day” holiday, the lot includes the original return envelope in Senator Carrall's handwriting plus a picture of the Senator and a condensed biography, a very scarce BC historic document and F-VF est ($150+ US) (Image)
