1947 3p slate 'Star and Crescent' vertical strip of ten, with trial overprints. The upper six stamps without overprint, stamps 7-9 with overprints in black and the lower stamp doubly overprinted in red and gold, large part or unmounted o.g. Hinged on two unoverprinted stamps only, fresh and fine save for a small toned area on the second stamp. BPA Certificate (2020). For SG 1 A Plate (possibly a frame) of eight overprint dies was made, i.e. half a sheet across. It is likely that only eight strips were printed (Image)
