1864/79: Great Britain 1 d. red, pl. 102, a fine used example on 1869 cover to Devonport carried at Sailor's Concessionary rate, endorsed at top "John Clark, Boiler Maker, Ascension" and counter-signed below by Commanding Officer; with ASCENSION code A datestamp in black at left (April 15) and the adhesive tied by DEVONPORT / 250 duplex upon arrival (May 7).
