1870: De La Rue Master Die Proof, printed in green on glazed white card without Duty Plate, slightest of peripheral aging at edges mentioned for accuracy only, signed off in ink 'A.M.D.' at right. The four other coloured Die Proofs were all in the Brain Brookes collection (2018), this being the sole example he did not manage to secure for his outstanding collection.
