This item is a very rare and sought for Polymer Euro Test Banknote, a "LD" Test Note printed on polymer substrate with "cube" window in paper. "LD" stands for "Low Denomination" Test, the note is printed in the actual size of a 20 Euro banknote. There are different types of this LD Test Note type exisiting, printed on different paper substrates as well as sometimes with different security features. The Polymer type, as offered here, is surely one of the most wanted ones. The note has the serial number prefix, letter G/I and plate code T001F2. It has an "eye" watermark at upper right as well as a security strip in substrate.

Set of 4 Euro Test banknotes produced by the Banque de France, resembling the security features of the ES2 Euro series. These 4 notes are produced in the size of the 20 Euro note, so they are marked with the "XX" on front. There are 3 other sizes for other Euro denominations known of this series (the V (5 Euro), X (10 Euro) and LO (50 Euro)). The 20 (XX) is one of the rarer ones of this series. The notes are printed on banknote paper with watermark in intaglio and they do have a window similar to the one on the real Euro banknotes at right which is covered with a broad hologram security stripe from the company Leonard Kurz. Nice set of 4 pcs of a very rare "LD Test" Euro type, with only one serial number, prefix D, Plate Code E001D4. The Prefix D/U and D/D are the most rarely seen ones on regular LD Test Notes. This LD Test has colored symbols on front and back linked to the different security features on the note such as "Look", "Feel" and "Tilt". This type of banknotes was used within the Eurosystem for a long time for different testing purposes such as the research for new banknote substrates as well as security features and is very searched-for in the Euro banknote collecting and test note collecting scene.
