1897 'IMPERIAL CHINESE POST' $2 orange & yellow SG 106 marginal example from the top of the sheet, one nibbled perf at the base, virtually full o.g., Cat £5000. [The stamp appears to have been hinged only in the margin. There is no trace of hinging on the stamp itself but there is some very minor gum disturbance]

1950 (July) Surcharges on North-East Provinces $50 on 20c to $400 on $300 SG 1436-1449, no gum as issued, Cat £700. [Also included are extra examples of $100 on $4 and $400 on $20. The surcharges impinge on the relevant character & we are not convinced that these are SG 1440a & 1444a]
