DESIRABLE HOLDING OF JAPANESE OCCUPATION OF THE PHILIPPINES COVERS. approx 200 with majority mounted and annotated on exhibit-type pages, includes official use, myriad of different censor marks and labels, nice array of town postmarks, auxiliary markings incl postage due and the "Special Case" for Christmas cards, registered, postal stationery, receipts, military and soldiers mail, some mail to Japan and China, etc. plus an asortment of philatelic and first day covers, leafing through note NUX1 with date of issue cancel (APS cert), plus March 4 1942 Manila to Mandaluyong censored (handstamp and label) with N3 and backstamp (rare thus as shows went through mail system as opposed to "hand-back"), NB1-3 cacheted FDC (cachet shows "Uncle Sam" image when inverted), 1943 Tarlac-Camiling censored with "ADVERTISED" as Camiling PO not yet open, Jul 1943 Japanese soldiers mail Manila-Mt Province with Japanese "return to sender" label affixed (2 different), etc., typical mixed condition, Fine, a must view for the specialist (see online scans)
