1909 postal stationery card 3s. on 1½ atts. used in 1916 to (probably within) Chiongmai firstly, uprated there with 1914 2s. on 14s., and sent to Bombay, India via Rangoon, strike of despatch datestamp is covered by adhesive, which was tied by Chiongmai d/s and 'Bombay G.P.O. 18 JUL 16' dater, Rangoon G.P.O. double-ring d/s, violet "PASSED BY CENSOR RANGOON..." double-ring censor h/s and Bombay arrival dater alongside. Card with vertical trace of folding and usually toned, but still good. A very unusual usage as 'redirected' Siam-India card with Burma censor. (Tax Method: Regular Taxation)
