1942 Censored airmail cover from Australia (despatched 6th Feb. 1942) addressed to Singapore but returned as the Japanese Occupation was completed on Feb. 15th with the capture of Singapore, with resp. cachet "POSTAL SERVICE SUSPENDED/RETURN TO SENDER", and with red "DEAD LETTER OFFICE MELBOURNE/28 MR 42" datestamps on the reverse. Cover slightly stained but an interesting mail of the beginning/early Japanese Occupation of Malaya.

1953 "Comet" Crash near Calcutta: Airmail cover from Singapore to U.K., despatched 1st May 1953, carried by De Havilland "Comet 1" which crashed after start at Dum Dum Airport Calcutta on the way to Delhi. The cover was franked by two KGVI. 35c. tied by Singapore slogan datestamp and bearing a special handstamp "SALVAGED MAIL/"Comet" Crash, Near Calcutta./2nd May 1953", in respective condition. Added is a background report and explanation of the crash.

1969/2018, beautiful accumulation with hundreds of F.D.C. with many pieces from the last years covering many thematics like animals, ships, sports, events, art and many more. Also a collection of first day cancelled and MNH stamps and souvenir folders, the year books 1997/1999 and used stamps in bags. A unusal amount of material in a big box. Unfortunately some pieces with stain spots.
