Rare 1900 Violet “BATANGAS / PROV. BATANGAS, P.I.” Military Station postmark 1900 2c statonery envelope, U8, pink shade, to Big Rapids, MI. Used Sep 5 1900 from soldier, Sgt. Hickox, and forwarded to Washington, DC (env trimmed on right edge). Only a couple covers known with this cancel, and the earliest known use is Aug 14, 1900.
