295, 1917 12c Red orange, "RAMBLER MANILA" Commercial Security Overprint, block of four, fresh color., l.h., F-VF and quite scarce in multiples, in June 1925 the Bureau of Posts delivered stamps to the Rambler Shoe Co. (and subsidiary Howard Lux Co.) stamps overprinted "Manila/P.I." for company use as opposed to precancels or perfins; in mid-1929 they were supplied with the "Rambler Manila" overprinted issues though these were is service a short time as the company ceased operations later that same year.
