1962-8-8 C94i, Mei Lanfang, imperf on 2 official CPC FDC, unaddressed, cancelled with first day postmark in Shanghai on 1962-9-3, the CPC Shanghai FDCs are much rarer than those from Beijing and according to my records during the last 15 years out of 45 imperf Mei Lanfang FDC sets found only 2 are from Shanghai! Furthermore, the date of issuance is 1962-9-1 for the second part of the set, so this manually changed official firstday cancellation of 1962-9-3 is the only known official special firstday cancel or commemorative cancel which shows a date different from the date of issuance so far.
