1815-17 ANGLO-NEPALESE WAR: Three covers concerning the war and describing details of this war, one sent by Shah, Governor of Almora (with his negative seal in black) to King Girvana Bikram Ahah at Kantipur (= later Kathmandu) (1815, dated '1872-2-10 B.S.') containg a letter describing the battle at Bhadauli and the Nepalese retreat across the Kali River, the other two covers + letters sent to General Bhimsen Thapa (Prime Minister) describing the battle against British troops at Pan Post (1815 cover + letter from Achai Thapa at Dhangari), and, after the peace treaty, letter with details of King Jasingh Bay of Navalwala's battle (1817).
