NEPAL and KASHMIR POSTAL HISTORY. fascinating well-researched collection of over 50 covers from the stampless period to early 20th century, extensively written-up on album pages, including a wonderful series of around two dozen covers/ documents from 1703-1726 with a diverse range of large negative seals in Hindu and Arabic script, including a scarce type with image of sun at the top of the seal; the Kashmir incl. ½a Q V stationery envelope with 1905 combination franking 2a Purple Q V alongside the 1a gray green of Kashmir tied by Srinagar and Lahore postmarks, followed by the Nepal section, a little chaotic with loose extra covers on the pages, needing further study. A great opportunity for the India postal history collector to acquire some very early material in excellent quality.
