CHINA, Airmail cover bearing on the back 5c, 15c, 20c (2x), 40c and 2$ registered from Shanghai 19 June 1940 via Honolulu 6 Sep 40 and New York 10 Sep 40, censored by the Germans, to its destination St. Fulgent (Vendée) in France, however on the front showing in violet the cachet ´Diverted by air via U.S.A. owing to/suspension of Air France Service.´ and in red ´Retour à l´Envoyeur/Relations Postales/Interrompues´, via New York and San Francisco 7 June 41 back to Shanghai, on 11 Dec 42 once again sent and arrived in St. Fulgent on 6 March 43.
