1899 (ca.), the extremely rare set of lithographed Essays: 5 P. green, 10 P. blue and the especially scarce 20 P. red. In perforation 10, in Poon-currency, inscribed "IMPERIAL KOREA". These designs were largely applied to the 1900/01 Ewha series resp. the 1902 commemorative, which shares the diamond shaped center with the 5 P. essay. - This set was found in France and is previously unreported, ungummed in VF condition.

Robert Künzle: 1952 20 W. peace propaganda tied "MANPO 55.3.19" to surface mail card to St. Gallen/Switzerland, senders endorsement "Manpo 19.3.55 (chinese border)", reports that he arrived two days before. The ppc used is south korean and shows Seoul city hall with two banners inc. horizontal "Welcomes Peoples Anti-Communists Delegates to Seoul!", definitely provided by the NNSC-Lt. and very curious. - Plus 1962 air mail cover to Sweden inc. 10 W. flute player. - Two covers.
