Japan, 1899-1958, mint collection balance, a small lot with no great rarities but many good quality stamps, including some interesting varieties. There is an "Island Under Australia" variety in the lot - we didn't even know there was such a variety - not expensive but a nice item for the collector, and one of many varieties including perf and shade varieties. Plus Chrysanthemums, Tazawa, Showa pre-and post-WWII. All imaged on the web - have a look. O.g., mostly never hinged, generally Fine to Very Fine. Scott $651.
