An official, non-franked registered letter 1916, from "Direction General des Mandats de Posts et des Caisses d'Epargne du Japon" sent to Denmark via Siberia and Petrograd. A Petrograd rectangular censor mark. A Tokio reg. label + red squared R-mark on front. On the back a round red official label "Direction General of Postal Money Orders and Savings Banks/Tokyo/Japan".
