POSTAL HISTORY - WWII OCCUPATION OF BURMA: 1943 (circa) Helmet & Dove Postal Card sent by serviceman to Niigata, censor's chop in vermilion, return address translates as "c/- Sasebo Post Office i11 i32 Watanabe Unit Nakahara Party". [i11 was the designation for the Andaman Islands, which Japan occupied in late March 1942 after much of the British garrison was withdrawn following the fall of Burma]

The message partly in French & partly in Englaish finishes "...France & Japan have a good eye on the British politics & so many hopes".
