FRENCH COLONIES (General Issues) COLLECTION. overwhelmingly used collection beginning with the 1859/65 Eagle & Crown complete used incl well margined examples, 1871/72 Napoleon/Ceres 80c used, 1872/77 Ceres with an attractive 5c with Saigon cancel, 1877/78 "Sage" to 1fr some being corner or sheet marginals with some easily legible cancels, 1881/86 "Commerce" assortment to 1fr incl better and some used in China, 1884/85 postage dues 5fr of the 1884/85 types with sheet and corner marginal types noted incl J14 used in Martinique, etc., usual mixed condition but much better than usually seen, mostly F-VF (see online scans)
