1968 Chairman Mao's Inscription to Japanese Worker 8f black & red, prepared for use but not issued for political reasons, with all stock being ordered destroyed. Superb fresh MNH. SG unlisted. CPSC 8c cat US$150,000 & undercatalogued. Excellent quality printing & it appears genuine, but obviously we have nothing to compare with for verification. Therefore, it is sold strictly 'as is' with no returns possible, so personal inspection before auction recomm- ended. Great PRC rarity. Previously sold in auction 323 for $49,000 but the buyer failed to pay, so now being reoffered. (P)
