1930. Very rare double-franked card from Nicaragua, carrying the called-for additional USA postage in the form of the C14, $1.30 Zeppelin stamp. With numerous backstamps including NY registry markings, Havana way, Friedrichshafen arrival and Managua strikes, this is a very attractive cover. Only six (!) covers were flown from this locale.

1931. Egyptian cover flown on the Graf Zeppelin LZ127 airship's 1931 Landungsfahrt nach Ägypten / Egypt flight with Caire / Ciaro cancels tying both the 50 and 100M stamps. The 50M is the scarce plate flaw '1951' instead of '1931' variety. With both stamps (usually only one or the other values).
