Advanced Collection of Over 250 Covers in 3 Albums, 1907 to 1958, primarily showing usage of India stamps used in Burma plus routes. The albums are titled "Chettiar Mail". Very nicely written-up collection, with many covers having been roughly opened so condition varies. Scans try to give an overview of the material but they only give a small taste of the collection's extent. Finds are quite possible, as there was no attempt to identify smaller or discontinued post offices. Also includes some Japanese Occupation covers. (Image)

Two Folded Letters Mailed from The British Post Office in Java, 1813 and 1815, the first was mailed in 1813 (datelined inside) from Batavia to Indromajoe, with intaglio receiver on front as well as boxed POST-PAID. The second was mailed in 1815 (datelined inside) from Sourabaya to Grisse with intaglio receiver on front (including letters EEIC standing for English East India Company) plus boxed POST-PAID.
