(Boston Ship) for triple 7.16 dwt. gr. rate applied upon arrival, addressed to "John Kinsey, Esq., Chief Justice (formerly Speaker of the House of Representatives) of the Province of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia", manuscript "via Boston" routing endorsement at bottom left, addressee denotes the sender as "From Richard Partridge, London 1st the 8th 1744" with common Quaker dating was to date the current and anticipatory next year, Partridge was the London, England agent of the Pennsylvania Assembly of Quakers and was a close associate of Benjamin Franklin, Very Fine and choice, a wonderful triple rate usage which may be unique.
