NEW ZEALAND: 1919 three Kermadec Islands real photo cards 1) sea-lions on beach; 2) grass hut; and 3) wreckage of 'Winslow' on beach; captions on reverse, unused. [On 16.6.1917, the US schooner 'Winslow' was captured & sunk by the German raider 'Wolf', of 'Matunga' fame. Wooden wreckage from the 'Winslow' ended up ashore on Raoul Island]

Rare, most unusual & not previously seen by us. [Published 1890-1908, the NZG was a weekly illustrated journal. PAPUA: 1905 real photo card of native drummer & dancer to USA with Queensland ½d & 1d tied by BN '336' with 'THURSDAY ISLAND' cds alongside. Message states "New Guinea [ie British New Guinea] drummer & ghostman. Drum in lap".
TURKEY/OTTOMAN EMPIRE: Attractive selection from Undivided Backs to 1920s & a few later (49); plus Baghdad x2, Beirut & Mecca; condition variable but generally fine to very fine.
