1889, 2nd issue 1 R. on blue-green in horizontal pair of tête-bêche, fresh colours and large margins on all sides with bar obliterator "W" on locally used envelope. Tête-bêche of the Witu area are all extremely scarce; this is the only registered one of the 1 rupee and the only known one on letter. Tête-Bêche des Witu-Gebietes sind alle außerordentlich selten; dies ist das einzig registrierte der 1 Rupie und einzig bekanntes auf Brief.
