1854 "Penny Black" Imperf 1d black SG 1, margins just clear to huge with a chunk of the adjoining unit above, an unusually pale impression but it is watermarked so it's not a plate proof, unused, Cat £1750.
1854-55 Lithographs 4d slate-blue SG 3c, margins close to good, a trifle aged on the reverse which doesn't detract from the very fine facial appearance, unused, Cat £4000. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2011) states "superb example".

1854-55 Lithographs 4d blue, the so-called Thrashing Swan with Damage above 'ENCE' of 'PENCE' SG 3ao [R6/20], margins just clear - at the base - to large, unused, Cat £4250. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2009). A dramatic and entertaining variety.
1854-55 Lithographs 1/- deep red-brown SG 4a marginal example from the left of the sheet with margins close to enormous, unused, Cat £2000. BPA Certificate (2005).
1854-55 Lithographs 1/- pale brown SG 4c with Diagonal Line through 'A' of 'POSTAGE', margins close to good, unused, Cat £550+. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2011).
1857-59 Hillman Lithographs Imperf 2d brown-black/red Printed on both Sides SG 17a with the print on the reverse upright relative to the face, margins just touching - at the base - to large with a fragment of the adjoining unit above, light void-grid cancel & traces of red postmarking ink probably from a London arrival marking, Cat £900.
1860-64 Printed in the Colony from Perkins Bacon Plates 6d imperforate plate proof marginal horizontal pair in dull mauve on ungummed unwatermarked paper, margins close to huge. Ex John Dibiase: sold for $575. [The 6d colour trial sheets were rejected with an instruction to make this value "more of a slate colour", though the issued sage-green hardly conforms to that directive]
1860-64 Printed in the Colony from Perkins Bacon Plates Imperf 6d sage-green SG 28, margins just touched in a couple of places to good, unused, Cat £3500.
1861 Printed by Perkins Bacon 1/- imperforate plate proof/colour trial in deep bottle-green - a gorgeous shade - on ungummed watermarked wove paper, margins close to good.
1905-12 Crown/A 3d red-brown ACSC W29C (SG 141) block of 30 (6x5) from upper-left of the sheet with margins on three sides, exceptional centring, unmounted, Cat $3000+ (£1950+), for mounted. An impressive multiple in superb condition. Ex Dr Cecil Walkley sold for $1710 and 'Dubois' Part I: sold for SFr720.
LAKE LEFROY GOLDFIELD EXPRESS: 1897 Lake Lefroy Goldfield Swan 6d pink/green, corner fault at lower-left, heavy central fold & minor thins, superb part-strike of the Coolgardie duplex. A presentable example of this scarce Goldfields local. Pope & Reynolds Census U21. Also 'Coolgardie Cycle Express Co' advertising card of fine facial appearance but faults on the reverse from where a complete set of the Bicycle & Camel stamps have been removed.
