Cat No:28/a

1850-57 Half-Lengths Campbell & Fergusson 1d pink (shades) SG 28/a group complete reconstruction of the 24 types (6x4) including a pair [1-2], most with full margins & quite a few are unusually large stamps, postmarks include Barred Oval '94' of Avoca (rated R) & the oval 'NEWSPAPER/MELBOURNE' datestamp, Cat £1200+, for unplated singles. A challenging & very attractive reconstruction, of stamps that are far-above usual plating quality. Completing any Half-Length reconstruction is far more difficult than for the Queen-on-Throne 2d, every example of which has distinctive lettering in the lower corners.
