Danish West Indies, - Great Britain Used Abroad Postal History, 1866-73. Nice group of 10 covers and 22 stamps/on piece items; covers with various Great Britain issues canceled by the barred "C51" oval cancellation, with usages to Halifax, N.S., Denmark, Demerara B.G., combination frankings to France, 1sh usages to London and interesting usage to Germany (missing a stamp), off cover items including 20 1sh QV issues arranged by plate no.'s; nice overall condition, worth proper review.

Includes used items and three postal history usages; used stamps include #1, 18a on piece and 25b, 1903, 2¢ carmine, tied by "St. Thomas, 13/4, 1905" cds on picture post card to Philadelphia Pa., U.S.A. (realized $325 hammer in our sale 97), 1871 (Dec. 12) San Juan, Puerto Rico to New York N.Y. via St. Thomas, blue folded cover with red "Porto-Rico, De 12, 71" cds and black "C61" barred oval ties G.B. 4d vermilion ($150 hammer) and #18a bisect usage ($160 hammer).
