1861 (May) large cover, actually a wrapper, with 24c gray lilac (2), 30c orange and 90c blue, canceled by bold segmented cork postmarks, with New Orleans, May 2, 61 cds alongside and below, addressed to "Clerk of the Probate Court of Madison County, Canton, Miss", endorsed alongside "Deposition of Joseph Hay, J. Hammon, K. Payne, David G. Cooke in matter of Estate of David Goodhue".
