Wilmington to Sussex, England. Two covers; Entire datelined "Wilmington / Cape Fear / North Carolina April 6th 1755" and carried privately to England by the Favour and endorsed "pr Favour Capt. Alpine". The letter transits London on the 9th June and bears a Bishop mark of that date on reverse.Entire datelined "Gosport Octbr 6th 1750" to the brother of the writer as per the example from Wilmington. John Eede, the writer states that he is on the "Braganza, Capt. Thos. Hart" awaiting departure for Charles Town, South Carolina "where I hope it will please God to send us safe & me to Cape Fear from thence. The reverse bears the London Bishop mark for 9th October; slight edge wear, otherwise Very Fine. Estimate  $1,000 - 1,500. $0 (Image)
