Johnson is to be here. The Loco's are tying hard to make it go off well, but it will be a slim affair, mentions other conventions; some slight cover soiling, otherwise Very Fine, a lovely and rare design with interesting campaign content (Milgram rarity 3, 1-5 known). Milgram No. WH-25  Estimate $300 - 400. In the 1840 election, the term "Locofoco" was applied to the entire Democratic Party by its Whig opponents, both because Democratic President Martin Van Buren had incorporated many Locofoco ideas into his economic policy, and because Whigs considered the term to be derogatory. $0 (Image)
