Shield handstamp in blue with matching "Free" in oval on cover to "Chips" in Stockton, Cal., small part of flap torn away, Very Fine, a scarce early type handstamp, ex-Haas, Parker, Cover illustrated in Coburn's Letters of Gold (page 161).
