Tomichi, Colo, Sep 14 1899 (Gunnison), cds on Granite Mountain Gold Mining Co. corner card cover to Marshall, Mich., franked with 1899, 2¢ red + 1895, 10¢ Special Delivery cancel ed by target handstamps, reverse with three different R.P.O. transit postmarks, Very Fine. Scott No. 279B+E5  Estimate $150 - 200. Tomichi was hit by an avalanche in March of 1899 and 4 of the 6 remaining people in the town were killed.
