Aug 12 1862" cds on orange buff cover to Lt. in Tenth Missouri Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division (Pope's), Army of the Mississippi, reverse with "U.S. Penny Mail, Phila. Pa. Aug 12" octagonal datestamp and "Received, Cairo Ill. Aug 17, 1862" cds; some edge wear, Very Fine. Scott No. 63  Estimate $100 - 150. The 10th Missouri Regiment, which had been organized at St. Louis in August 1861, was during this time in Corinth Miss.
