Quartered Circle, two strikes, one bold, tie 3¢ green (158) and 6¢ dull rose (159) on 1875 cover to Grenoble, France, sharp strike of red "New York 'Paid' Dec 4" exchange cds, Calais (12.15.75) entry cds and large red "P.D." framed handstamp, Paris (12.15) and Grenoble (12.16) backstamps; some cover restoration at corners, Extremely Fine appearance, ex Van Vlissengen & Waud, Ainsworth.
