Post Office Seal, 1907, blue, imperforate vertically. Two seals tied on back of 1913 registered cover with unusual franking of 1¢ 1909 vertical perf. 12 strip of three, pair of Shermack type II private vending coils and 1¢ 1912 vert. perf 8½ paste-up strip of four, plus 2¢ pair and 1¢ single, Very Fine, the only recorded example of the imperforate horizontally variety used on cover. Scott No. OX13 var.  Estimate $300 - 400. Most collectors believe the part imperforate type 2 seals to be printer's waste. However, as witnessed by this usage, a few errors were indeed distributed to post offices and used in the normal business fashion. $0 (Image)
