July 4, 1860" from a miner to a friend, letter is separated at the folds and in fragile condition but contents include "I have worked my Creek Claim out and took more gold out of it than expected… I have invested… into a Tunnel Claim" and "Robbers, thiefs, murders, gamblers and blacklegs are thicker here than Fiddlers in H.
