Hunt, L.G., 1¢ Black, Silk Paper, without red "G & G " overprint, intensely rich color, couple corner repairs, Fine appearance, with only 22 examples recorded in the Aldrich census (of which 12 are reported to be faulty) and one of the very few without the red Griggs & Goodwill overprint, a great rarity as such, Ex-H. Barr. Scott No. RO113b  $1,650. Almost every Hunt stamp on full silk paper was overprinted vertically "G & G" with a date in red.
