Ter.; a bit reduced at right, Very Fine, the earliest of two recorded territorial postmarks from this town. EstimateĀ $200 - 300. Hughes was a station on the Overland Mail route and was named for General Bela M. Hughes, president of the company. Indeed, Hughes barely qualified as a town.
