Gold Dirt C.T., July 4, 1866, manuscript postmark tying 1861, 3Ā¢ rose on cover to Norrisville, Vt., "Missent & For'd" with blue Morrisville, Vt. cds; cover reduced at right into stamp, Fine and scarce. EstimateĀ  $300 - 400. Only manuscript postmarks are known from this important but short-lived stamping mill town. Gold Dirt was located in Gilpin County south and west of Rollinsville.
